Bylaws and Regulations
Since its inception in 1992, the IRF had operated as an informal nonprofit organization, governed by a set of Statutes.
In July of 2023, the IRF was successfully incorporated in the United States as a nonprofit organization.
A new set of Bylaws and Regulations have since been adopted, that has replaced the 2019 Constitution.
At the 2024 IRF World Ranger Congress, the membership voted to remove the Constitution.

Finances
Currently, the International Ranger Federation (IRF) is incorporated in the United States (California Corporation #575182) as a nonprofit, public benefit, charitable, and tax-exempt U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 501(c)(3)), organization, U.S. Tax ID number 93-1900925.
